Linda Evans Manuilow

Meet Linda Evans Manuilow. Linda began directing the chorale in the fall of 2017 when it was offered as a Community Education class at the Santa Rosa Junior College. After returning to in person classes post COVID-19, SRJC needed to take a minimum two semester break to reassess its Community Education program leaving the chorale without a home. Linda worked tirelessly to create a group that formed a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization now known as The Petaluma Chorale. This session’s concerts will be the first on our own and we could not have done it without her dedication and direction.

Linda has an undergraduate degree in Music Education from Asbury University, and a master’s degree in Vocal Pedagogy from Oakland University, as well as post-master’s degree training from Westminster Choir College in conducting, choral technique and choral literature.

Linda has taught all levels of vocal music, and is currently working with individuals and at local high schools in addition to the chorale. She is enthusiastic and passionate about her work and is looking forward to expanding the chorale’s reach into our community.

Meet Miles McKenzie. Miles is our superb Collaborative Pianist. His knowledge of music and contributions to our group are a great benefit to all of us. And when we sing a capella in concert he sings along with us filling in where his rich lovely voice is needed most. We can’t wait for you to see him in action in May. www.milesmckenzie.com
