About Us

The Petaluma Chorale

The Petaluma Chorale is a mixed vocal ensemble dedicated to the art of superior choral singing, including formal, jazz, Broadway and other contemporary styles.

Made up of community members of all ages that share a love of singing. We work in 16 week sessions in the fall and spring culminating in at least two performances per session. We’d love for you to join us!

Linda Evans Manuilow, Director

Linda Evans Manuilow, a proud Midwesterner, holds an undergraduate degree in Music Education from Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky, and a master’s degree in Vocal Pedagogy from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She has taught vocal music to all age levels, both in choral settings and in individual lessons, and brings many hours of experience to her instruction as well as post-master’s degree training from Westminster Choir College in conducting, choral technique and choral literature. Prior to moving to the bay area to be near her family, she was a successful high school and community choral director for many years in both Michigan and Arizona. Her teaching emphasis is always focused on producing a beautiful singing sound as well as training in musicianship, musical literacy and the wonderful joy of making music.
